Launching the Rentals Platform for Crossroads Live
One of the most exciting parts of our ongoing work with Crossroads Live has been helping them rethink how their digital presence can support — and expand — their business. Most recently, we partnered to design and build a custom Rentals area on their site, turning years of behind-the-scenes assets into an organized, searchable, and highly functional platform.
From Word-of-Mouth to World-Class Access
For years, the incredible props, wigs, costumes, and scenic elements used in Crossroads Live’s productions were available — but only through informal networks or industry contacts. These were award-winning pieces of theatrical design, often built at the highest level of craft, and they deserved better visibility.
So we built a centralized database and designed a public-facing experience that made it easy for local productions, schools, and regional theaters to browse and inquire about available rentals.
Built to Grow
From the start, we knew this couldn’t just be a one-off landing page. We created an internal system that allows the Crossroads Live team to upload, tag, and update rental inventory — complete with images, categories, designers, and availability — with ease.
The result is a seamless experience for users and a powerful new business tool for the CXL team.
Expanding the Footprint
Since launching, the Rentals area has already helped Crossroads Live connect with new partners and expand its reach beyond production. It’s a great example of how thoughtful digital tools — when designed with real-world needs in mind — can transform how a company operates and who it serves.
